Elon Musk Delivers Smackdown to NY Times’ Accusations About Drugs

I reported on how, at the end of May, Elon Musk dispensed with accusations made in a New York Times story. It was when he was honored in the Oval Office by President Donald Trump for all the work he had done with DOGE, on the occasion of his departure from official involvement.

It was quite the takedown and very Trumpian, showing Musk may have learned something from the master.

Elon skewered the Times with a wave of his hand, noting how they won Pulitzers for reporting on Russia collusion. Trump appreciated that one.

The Times report claimed Musk used drugs, including ketamine.

How much was that report worth? They claimed he “exhibited erratic behavior” including “gesturing like a Nazi.” We know how ridiculous that “Nazi” claim was. Musk said he was giving his heart to the crowd after he made a gesture touching his heart and then moving his arm out like a salute/acknowledgement of the audience. But then Democrats and their acolytes in the media termed it a “Nazi salute.”

But now it looks like Elon had dropped another shoe on that report, with what he posted on Tuesday. He posted what appeared to be a clean drug report done on him on June 11 by a lab company in Austin, Texas.

The test showed he tested negative for ketamine and a host of other drugs.

He then challenged the Times and the Wall Street Journal to take drug tests and “publish the results,” as he had done.

When asked by reporters, President Donald Trump previously appeared to indicate he hadn’t seen such behavior.
