The inevitable baseless left-wing claims that climate change caused the Canadian wildfires

Share
Much of the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic parts of the United States were covered in a strong haze Wednesday, stemming from rampant wildfires causing havoc across eastern Canada.

With smoke blowing in from the north, cities along the East Coast suffered a quick deterioration in air quality. And almost as quickly as the wind blew the Canadian fire smoke into the country’s biggest cities, Democrats, left-wingers, and other leftist weather cultists wasted no time baselessly blaming the event on climate change.

It is political fear-mongering, and Democrats and the Left are masters of it — especially regarding climate change. They will take tragedies, harrowing experiences, or intensely traumatizing situations and exploit them for political gain, even if they do not have any proof to support their claims. All they care about is spreading the (mis)information and repeating it often enough that it becomes credible to many of the masses.

Consider just some of these incredibly unhinged accusations from prominent figures in the government that don’t have any evidence to verify their claims.

President Joe Biden tweeted about the fires and referred to them as “record wildfires” that were “intensifying because of the climate crisis.” Of course, Biden did not elaborate on how the so-called “climate crisis” actually impacted these fires. He couldn’t because there isn’t any evidence to exist that shows it. Wildfires had existed long before any left-wing environmentalist started making doomsday prognostications about the planet’s sustainability due to the climate.

“This is yet another alarming example of the ways in which the climate crisis is disturbing our lives and our communities,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said. “That’s why, from day one, President Biden rightfully recognized the climate crisis, climate change, as one of the four crises facing our nation as he was coming into the Oval Office.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), perhaps the congressional poster child for the Green New Deal, linked the wildfires and hot temperatures in Puerto Rico as examples of some of the damage climate change has caused. Of course, just like Biden, AOC didn’t post any proof or explanation of how climate change was related.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted another baseless accusation claiming that “we’re seeing more and more of these fires because of climate change.” This statement was made after it was revealed that Quebec police are investigating that at least one of the fires in Canada may have been because of arson.

But this is what liberals, Democrats, and other leftists repeatedly do during so-called “climate emergencies.” They use these tragedies to advance baseless claims and phony narratives.

They think if they scare or fool enough people into believing their misinformation, it will eventually reshape the culture. And that is their ultimate objective. No one should fall for these silly acts of deception and manipulation anymore. They prey on people’s emotions to indoctrinate and influence.
