Media Freak Out! SCOTUS Will Let Trump Be ‘King,’ Gave Him ‘License to Thug’

Lefty journalists and celebrities all freaked out after the Supreme Court’s Donald Trump immunity ruling.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid warned that if Trump won, the Supreme Court would let him rule as “King.” CNN’s Van Jones feared that the Court issued Trump a “license to thug.”

The Hollywood Elite went nuts too. Actress and comedian Lea DeLaria lined herself up for a Secret Service visit because she actually threatened Trump’s life. The Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black cast member urged President Joe Biden to use the high court ruling “to take that bitch Trump out….He is Hitler….Blow him up!” Singer/actress Barbra Streisand worried that America would turn into a “monarchy” under Trump.

The following are just a few of the most outrageous outbursts from freaked-out journalists and celebrities over the last month:

SCOTUS Gave Trump a “License to Thug”

“It makes the Supreme Court look very partisan. They’re supposed to be wearing these kind of black and white umpire jerseys….They look like they’re wearing red jerseys, or even MAGA hats…It’s also scary because what is Trump going to do? If Trump gets elected and there’s this idea that he can get away with even more stuff, that’s really, really scary for the public because he already ran over every norm that he could….It’s almost like a license to thug in a way like you can do whatever you want and Supreme Court is probably going to let you get away with it. That is very frightening.”

If Trump Wins, SCOTUS Will Let Him Be King

“What they’re saying to the American people is that if ‘We get….our preferred president back, we’re going to encourage him to break the boundaries of the law….to feel free to even use violence, to use mass incarceration. Leo has already reshaped federal–the federal courts by hand-picking conservative judges and justices and his preferred list of wanta-be justices in a second Trump presidency is already out there. Let me be blunt. You all should be very worried. These judges would lock us into a multi-generational nightmare.
